Regardless of what brings you here, a good question to ask during the consultation is how the services provided will address your reason for coming to therapy.

Therapy services with me begins with a complimentary 15 minute consultation during which we will discuss what brings you to therapy. Once we decide we are a good fit to work together, you’ll be scheduled for an intake appointment during which I will collect your background information to get a better understanding of your presenting concerns. Subsequently, you will be scheduled for your regularly scheduled therapy sessions.

The initial consultation is intended to provide both you and I with information about how best therapy can help you. Some questions you may ask me include:

• How can I make payment for the service?

• How often would my appointment be?

• What is a typical session like?

• What kinds of homework do you give clients?

• How can you help me with my presenting concerns?

Simply put, come as you are and we will figure it out together. Part of my job is to facilitate our discussions to figure out how to best support you.

Yes, I am an in-network provider for Blue Cross PPO, Blue Choice Options, Professional Blue Choice PPO, and Blue Cross Blue Shield Preferred Professional Organization (PPO).

I am also available for self-pay and clients using out-of-network benefits. For those using out-of-network benefits, I provide a superbill within 24 hours of your session so that you may request reimbursement from your insurance provider.

Please check with your insurance provider to identify what your out-of-network benefits are.

I’d never want the cost of service to keep you from obtaining services. I offer a sliding scale on a case by case basis.

I use Orchid.Exchange for record keeping and payment processing. Clients will be instructed to create a user profile, which includes adding a form of payment using a debit or credit card.

Payments will be automatically processed after each session. Clients will immediately have access to their receipts and superbill (useful for submitting insurance claim).
